Setlementti Toivola kuuluu valtakunnalliseen setlementtiliikkeeseen, jonka muodostaa 32 itsenäistä yhdistystä, joissa toimii yli 3000 ammattilaista tukenaan tuhansia vapaaehtoisia. Setlementti Toivola on Suomen Setlementtiliiton kolmanneksi vanhin jäsenyhdistys.
